Snapshots

In Prysm, after you type notes on a Sticky Note, annotate any asset, or make any changes to content on your workspace, you have several options to save and share that content:

  • Leave the asset as it is on the workspace. Prysm maintains the workspace as it is, and you can sign in from any Prysm application, access the workspace, and work with your assets. The ideal way to share content in this scenario is to share a workspace link.
  • Take a snapshot of an individual asset. When you take a snapshot, you save an image of the asset and any annotations on it. Prysm saves snapshots in your project files.
  • Take a snapshot of the entire workspace. This option saves an image of all your assets, as well as workspace backgrounds and text added with the Text tool.
  • Share the asset. When you share, you email an image of the asset to yourself or others.
  • Share a snapshot. In your project files, you open a snapshot image, and then you share it.
  • Share your desktop. In Prysm for desktop, you can share a desktop application or your entire desktop with others.

When you share an asset or a snapshot, Prysm sends an email to the people you specify. In the email, recipients can click View in Prysm to join you in your workspace for collaboration.

Tip: Sharing snapshots is a good way to communicate work in progress to those who aren't part of a Prysm collaborative session and to maintain a visual history of work. Sharing enables you to email images of assets with notes and annotations to yourself, to other project participants, or to other valid email addresses.
