Projects
In Prysm, projects are anything you want to organize, such as planning an event, or getting a software release to market. The project's workspaces are places where you can store and visually organize your content.
Add files and documents to a project, and then position that content — as well as sticky notes, sketchboards, web browsers, and more — in workspaces. You can organize your projects and workspaces prior to a meeting to ensure your meeting runs smoothly and is more effective for all participants. Before, during, and after meetings or any kind of work sessions, your project content is available any time to people you've added to the project.
Navigate to the Project page as follows:
- From Prysm for web, using the navigation menu, tap Home to display the project list.
- From Prysm for rooms, using the Touch menu, select Exit > Projects.
See the steps below to create a new project, open an existing one, add workspaces, and more.

Projects, which are used to organize your work, provide digital spaces for collaboration. When planning your work, you can create projects using Prysm for web or Prysm for desktop, or you can use Prysm for rooms to create an ad-hoc project during a meeting.
- After signing in to Prysm, select .
-
Enter a Project Name and an optional project description.
A project description can help you identify the contents or purpose of the project. The project description is listed in the project details area when you select a project from the projects panel.
-
From the list of sizes, select a workspace size for the project.
Choose a workspace size based on the primary location where you will be using the project. For example, if you select a larger workspace size and use it on a smaller display, you will have to pan through the workspace to see all of the content. The size selected by default when you create the project is the recommended workspace size.
- The next step depends upon whether you created the project from a Prysm-enabled display in a conference room, from Prysm for web, or from Prysm for desktop.
- From a Prysm-enabled display in a conference room, select Save. Your project is opened to the default workspace and you can begin adding content.
- From Prysm for web or Prysm for desktop, select Create. Your new project is listed at the beginning of the project list.
