Getting started with Prysm Go

Who can do this?
  • Prysm for rooms users

Prysm Go allows casual users to use a Prysm-enabled display without signing in to place a call, sketch, or share a device.

From the Welcome screen, select:

  • Place a Call to call using video conferencing (VC) and collaborate with the sketchboard or shared devices. (See Video conferencing from Prysm Go.)
  • Join to join a Skype for Business meeting. (See Using Skype For Business in Prysm Go.)
  • Sketch to use an interactive sketch pad, or Display Device to connect your own wired or wireless device to the display for on-screen collaboration.
  • Sign In to sign in to Prysm for a full collaboration experience. (See Signing in to Prysm.)
You can use Prysm Go even when your internet connection is down. Regardless of the system's internet connection status, you can use the Prysm Go sketchboard and connect a live source using a wired HDMI connection or Apple Airplay (if the local network connection is working). However, if the internet connection is lost, Google Cast won't work in Prysm Go.
Note: Sketch and Display Device do not provide all of the features of a full Prysm collaborative experience. You cannot organize and save content in projects for easy reuse, manage project files, save notes in an editable form, or save copies of projects over time for reuse. A Prysm user account is required for a full collaboration experience. Contact your system administrator for details.
