Importing files from a web-based file storage account to Prysm project files

To import files stored in your Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive for Business accounts into Prysm's project files, you must be in Prysm for rooms.

Note: When you import a file, keep in mind that the import is a copy. For an imported file, Prysm participants can annotate the file, take snapshots, and share. However, the annotations are not saved into the file and won't be included with the file if you use Prysm's Export button to export it back to your web-based file storage account. To save your annotations on an imported file, you can:
  • Use Prysm's Snapshot button.
  • Use Prysm's Share button to email a snapshot to yourself and others.
  • Use Prysm's Export button to export a snapshot back to your file storage account.
  1. Sign in to Prysm for rooms.
  2. Connect your Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive for Business accounts to Prysm.
  3. From the Touch Menu, select Project Files.
The Project Files dialog box opens.
  4. Select .
The dialog box expands to display the connected and disconnected drives available for file storage.
  5. Click a connected file storage provider (for this example, Microsoft OneDrive for Business).
Tip: If your administrator has configured access to local or shared drives, you can select files from those locations as well.
  6. Your OneDrive file list now displays in Prysm.
  7. Tap one or more of your OneDrive files to select them.

  8. Tap Import to import the files into Prysm's Project Files list.
Note: You can import and export files with a maximum file size of 2GB.

You can also add project files from a phone or laptop using Prysm for web, Prysm for desktop, or Prysm for iPhone. For information, see
