Permission groups

Permission groups are used to manage different levels of access within Prysm. Rather than managing user permissions individually, Permission groups allow org admins to apply different levels of permission in bulk.

Two permission groups exist by default: Basic_User and Org_Admin. All new users are created with Basic_User rights, which means they can use Prysm to collaborate on assets and content. Users with Org_Admin permissions can manage licenses, users, groups and permissions, and edit settings for their Prysm deployments if they have expanded permissions.

You may want to create new permission groups to grant specific additional privileges, such as the ability to manage projects or enable workspace read-only mode. To do this, you need to create a permission group with the additional privileges (see Creating permission groups), and then add users to the permission group (see Adding users to permission groups).
