Turning on file storage settings in Prysm Admin Portal

By default, the ability to connect file storage accounts is turned off in Prysm Admin Portal. As the Prysm Org Admin, you can turn on the Admin Portal setting. In addition, you should understand how Prysm users can access files and the limitations with various file access methods.

If you don't turn on the setting in Admin Portal, the icons for Box, DropBox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive for Business are not displayed in Prysm for rooms.

To turn on the setting, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to Prysm Admin Portal.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Click the OFF toggle to change it to ON for each provider you want to allow.
    You can turn on only the file storage providers in use by your organization. You don't have to turn on providers that your organization does not use.

    If you enable Mapped Drives, you must map drives to the Prysm Application Appliance for your environment. Prysm does not support mapping the C drive.
  4. Click Save.
